Oily crankcase vapor smell under hood and in cabin V70-XC70 2007

New to me with 125k in great shape, though with a few particular issues, which I will address in individual threads.

After the engine is hot and driving for a while and when I slow down for a light and then at idling, I get a strong whiff of crankcase vapors. Generally, not exhaust smell (exhaust is new too) but that distinct smell if you grabbed a whiff of used freshly drained oil or the smell when you open the oil fill cap just after shutting down.

Is there a flame trap like my other Volvos that might be backing up or such?
