The thing that swung me was that every article I have read of the Mondeo has been excellent. And I have spent a lot of time with the local jag dealer. He offered customer names and I was free to speak to many. All were very happy with his service and their cars (not trouble free though).

If only you could get a nice V8 (say 3 litres) in the X type.....
