idle speed change? 850 94

While replacing my starter the other day, I decided to clean my throttle body as many of the adjoining hoses, etc. were already off for the starter.

After re-assembling everything and starting the car, the idle shot up to 2500 rpm then calmed down to about 1300 where it presently rests.

Prior to this work, the car had always idled nicelty around 900 rpm.

Any ideas as to what I may have done to disrupt my idle? I was careful not to tug too hard on the switch at the throttle body and don't think I moved it. I re-checked the various vacuum hoses and they're ok.

Any suggestions as to how to re-set it? thanks
