Head replacement is hard V70-XC70

Sounds like good progress. Take your time and do not over glue the cover, a nice even thin coat of the RTV will do nicely. Remember, the photo of the cams locked in place in the Haynes manual is viewed upside down.

I feel sorry for your back, the amount of time bending over the engine bay has got to hurt.

Remember to crank the engine over twice 'by hand' before putting the spark plugs back in. Without the plugs, there should be no resistance at all.
