Re: Pirelli Sidewall Bubble... V70-XC70 2001

John O, Igg, Sin, Yannis, & Russell...

I have grounded my V70 until I get the tire checked out. The car is really pampered & I am positive I have not visited any potholes (5492 out of the cars 5500 miles has been all me)... the roads are pretty good up here in Northern California too.

I made an appointment to bring my car into my dealer this Thursday for a 7,500 mile service. They said for me to contact Pirelli directly for warranty claims on tires.

So...

1) Calling the number (1-877-PIRELLI or 1-800-PIRELLI) on my Pirelli

Original Equipment Limited Warranty is useless... it's a voicemail loop.

2) Went to Pirelli's North America Website at:

http://pirelli.pearlcomm.com/Index1.htm

a)Sent them an email... no reply yet

b)Called # on the website 1-800-822-8686(which happens to be a Cooper

Tire referral Dept. ???) They took down the details of my problem and

gave me a customer relations # 1-800-854-6288 which then referred

me to a local authorized Pirelli retailer nearby. If I get off work

early today... I will bring it in for inspection.

Thanks for all the info & advice,

Rob
