What years offer Manual Transmission? 850

I have been doing some research, and getting confused. I am looking to purchase an 850 R sedan, but some places say they only offer automatic. Does anyone know what years they offer manual transmission?

Also, I heard the manual transmissions for 850's in general is not able to handle performance increases... any news on that?
