Radio only plays thru center speaker V70-XC70 2001

This is my 1st Volvo and it was purchasedlast week.. the stereo only plays thru the center speaker... i checked the connections at the back of the unit and at the amp under the pass seat.. i have also checked all the fuses that are marked for the radio and amp... any thoughts or tips would be great
