Re: HR Spring S40-V40 1998

There should be no difference in ride height between Dynamic and Comfort. According to the docs I have on my '98 T4 was only the sport suspension equipped with lowering springs.

The combinations at that time were:

Comfort => standard springs + standard shocks

Dynamic => standard springs + stiffer shocks

Sport => lowered springs + stiffer shocks

Only adding nivomat to the rear makes this more complex...

I can measure my car, but it will probably have dropped a little when compared to new. Most springs will 'settle' a little after being used for a while.

According to my docs does the sport suspension have a 22mm front and 20mm rear drop compared to either comfort or dynamic chassis options.

I think TME also mentions a reduced drop when installing their springs on an S40 which already has the Volvo suspension.

Bye, Arno.
