Power Antenna Service S70 98

Hello all. Next week I am bringing in my 98 S70 for it's 35K checkup. There are two other items in need of repair: the power antenna only goes down half way and the remote trunk entry does not open the trunk. In talking with the dealer, the remote trunk entry seems to be covered under warranty, but the power antenna is not. What goes?
