Oil Leak/ Crankcase Ventilation System? S40-V40

I have 2 Volvo S40 one '00 the other '04 both 1.9T. The problem now is with "00 with 106K miles that developed an oil leak recently. Took it to mechanic and he said was from engine cover seal and from crankcase solenoid. Resealed and put new solenoid but the problem it's still there. Oil drips after the car is driven and parked. Oil falls on cross member/tie rod on the right side and then hits the ground.I have two questions. 1-if there is an oil leak there is high pressure inside de engine (crankcase). If so that is because there is something broken or clogged in the crankcase ventilation system. Could it be the oil trap? Is there one in this car? Second are you able to tell me,without looking at the car where the leak might come from? I appreciated very much your help.
