Re: another perspective (long) 850 1994

Last year I checked into importing an 855 manual turbo from Canada. The economics are good, even with the dash conversion, but two things kept me from doing it. First, very few stick turbos are available for resale in any of the Canadian cities convenient for me (I've checked periodically with dealers). Also, even if they were available, my car has done pretty well on maintenance, and I've got a great extended warranty through 2002 that covers everything (it more than paid for itself with a new evaporator last summer). So, I'm not too anxious to trade it for an unknown. Maybe I'll get a newer model in a few years. Although at my rate, I won't get to 200k for another 15 years.
