DRL / Daytime running lights 850

I'm still looking around at options for my 850 and today I looked
at the spot low on the bumper where the fog lights must mount, that spot
might be good for fog lights but it's too low for DRL and the plastic there
isn't great to provide a sturdy mount for lights.
Then I was wondering if the trim beneath the headlight assembly comes out
without breaking chintzy mounting tabs etc., since that would be a good place for
DRL. Then I found this option:

Cement-on flexible LED strips, a pair of 12 5050 SMD LED strips that can be glued on. The good news is they draw only .007Amp or 7ma. The downside is that they
have lower lumen output. $21.24 shipped
This same company, ztechid is partners with amazon.om, and newegg, with all kinds of DRL packages available that include high power LEDs 1 watt LEDs that would be
likely over ten times brighter and better for daytime visibility.
There's a package for the Volvo XC60 that might work under the 850 headlights.
