V-70 Rear Washer Nozzle Alignment V70-XC70

Somewhere along the way, the nozzle and the nozzle cover was broken. Have parts in hand but the nozzle has 2 outlets, so positioning is critical. The nozzle is plastic and fragile so am concerned about turning/twisting the nozzle to align. Any hints on the correct position of the holes in the nozzle.
I could find another V-70, snap open the nozzle cover but am not sure the owner would appreciate that.
