Dying Battery - Dash Lights On? 850 1994

Without any obvious explanation, the battery in my 1994 850 went dead. Guessing that I left something on, I charged it up on Wednesday and it seemed fine. I charged it up, drove it w/o incident on Thursday and my wife drove it on Friday.

A day after being driven w/o incident, the battery is dead again.

Weirdly, while charging it, all the dash lights were on. It took a long time to get it charged and started. Now with the battery dead (again) it has the same weird issue. The dash lights are on again - NO KEY in the ignition. wtf?

Any idea what's going on here? Obviously, something is draining the power, but what?

The timing couldn't be worse. This is the back-up car, and my 940 just developed a problem of it's own.
