ABS ring need to replace - need the BB experts 850

Hi, I finally decided to look into why my traction control/ABS doesn't work, though I kinda' knew.
The gear tooth ring at the hub is rusted and broken, (a section missing and loose on the hub). How do I replace that?
I held back the caliper with a hook and took off the disc but didn't go farther becasue I have no parts anyway.
BUT how do I get at the back of the hub?
Do I compress the spring, unbolt the strut mount at the hub, loosen the bottom ball joint? Will the hub pivot down? Do I also have to un attach the CV joint? wheel bearings, (large nut on the front of the hub)? Axle?
.....Also, Can I get just the ABS ring? How does that fit on, just a friction fit?

Thank you all in advance.
