Seat memory inop 850

I found a nice set of seats from a 1995 854T in the pick&pull. No holes like my 1996 rescue. So I swapped seats today. The passenger seat has memory but the recline doesn't work - no problem - as the cable is probably loose.

The driver's side works great, BUT, the memory doesn't work!!!

I swapped the switch and the module under the seat, no change. The other power buttons work just fine. When I push on any memory button, I get a 'click' and the seat moves forward or backward 1 mm. Any ideas???? Yes, I did program button #1.

I am tired of cutting hog clips, so the only resolution I have now is to remove the skins on both seats and swap them. Ouch. There are at least 34 clips for the bottom.
