Warning: Check tire pressures & more

You would think that you wouldn't have to double check someone elses work Rick. Isn't that why we pay them. Otherwise we could do it ourself's for free. One note that a lot of people don't understand. TPS does not monitor the amount of air in the tires. It monitors an imbalance from one tire to the others. The variance it monitors is a 10% differance. So if all the tire had 10 lbs or air in them it would not trigger the system. When one tire drops 10% from the others then it triggers the system. I know your car is not eguipped with this system but just food for thought on the newer Volvo you may purchase. Over inflation? How much airwas in them. Front wheel drive I usually set at 35lbs. Note that as you climb in elevation that number will rise. Hope this was helpful for you.
