How much loss is there?

One of our 740s refused to stay full.

The dealer's tech would top it off and a week later it would be down an inch. I even bought a gallon of Volvo anti-freeze.

I watched it for a month and after the initial drop it fell no more.

So I marked the level it liked with a magic marker and labeled it 'full'. Volvo never topped it off and I never had to add any appreciable amount - this was for 100k and about 7 years.

I did train my two daughters to check their fluids weekly.
