Headlight Glass 850 1995

I know we've been through this, but I can't find this trend in the archives. This morning I discovered that my driver side headlight glass was shattered. I wonder if this was done by somebody intentionally or this might be caused by a rock that are flying in great number in the NYC area. How did it happened to others?

Anyway, I called my local Volvo dealer, they only sell headlight assemblies ($300). I've see glass only on eBay and in the IPD catalog for around $80. Should I just buy that glass and install it, or I need to know anything particular about sources/prices/quality?
