flashing orange arrow 850 1996

Funny you should say that because i drove the car around the block this afternoon and it ran perfectly.
The only thing i had done was use the code reader. Do you think its possible its an external wiring to the computer problem or am i clutching at straws. It did drive home from where my son noticed the problem only to reappear then. So i guess that had i driven it further it would have reappeared.
In the last two months i have done
the head gasket with timing belt and water pump and full head service
the pcv
the abs module
the heater core
the front suspension
and i wonder where its going to end. I think i have ticked most of the 850 problem spots so wish me luck.I may take it to the dealers for a more specific code read. I would love to stop spending on this car for a while.
David
