transmission or switch??? HELP 850 95

car is running perfect, started it this am:,dash shift indicator(arrow)plus

sport and econ, indicators are flashing(console)..transmission is shifting perfect and the fluid is bright red changed every 30k since new...why would the indicators be flashing??..(faulty sport/econ switch,shift override switch,or tranny...???? hope it's not the latter)
