ERR-02 answer but what is a ERR-01 850 94

I get a ERR-02 message when the CD cartridge is not in all the way. If the door to the CD changer is closed all the way, you may not be able to get the door open. By using a small screwdriver or the piece of wire, push the cartridge back in. If you are lucky, the code will clear right away. Lately when I have been getting the ERR-02 message, I have had to put in and take out the cartridge a number of times. It is OK to have the stereo on when you do it. When you finally hear the music, you know you are in good shape.

Here is my problem now, yesterday when I was attempting to clear the ERR-02 message, the message changed to ERR-01. Now I am unable to clear the message or get the cartridge out. Any clues?
