Does anyone know where to source a drivers door opener (interior) without having to buy the whole door panel? That's the way Volvo sells it now at $400+. Mine suffered the common failure where the plastic has cracked where the cable attaches. The wired-up Mickey Mouse fix I did a couple months ago has failed.

Or does someone have photos or description of a fix that has actually worked?

I"m prepared to search the local JY's, but I'm also prepared to get one that doesn't last long if the donor car had high mileage. I guess I'll see if I can grab a couple of them.

I moved about a month ago and purged my basement of a bunch of old Volvo parts that have been laying around for years. I can see the whole scenario starting over again at the new place. OH NOOOOOO!
