850 starting problem 850 1995

Jumping the leads only bypasses the relay and forces the pump to engage when the key is in posII.

Because the relay has a greater tendancy to fail in high heat conditions and is so much cheaper than a pump, it should be examined first.

A weak, failing pump has the same symptoms but is more expensive to diagnose.
