AC problem, not normal suspects 850

I'd bet the thermistor in the temp cutoff switch is out of sorts. IIRC there are two wires for the temp switch on the compressor. Could have some corrosion in the connections at some point, have heard of many people deleting the temp switch all together, pairing that alongside the shim fix and you can be back on easy street. Of course....there is always that caveat of bypassing something there intended for safety, but my guess would be the temp sensor is out of tolerance?

If you chose to delete it, a butt splice and heat shrink should make a nice fix.
