Timining Belt Change 2005 V50 V50

First, timing belt interval is 120K miles except:
Models identified by engine VIN codes 39 & 64 sold in California, Massachusetts, Vermont, New York and Maine are classified as PZEV vehicles. The timing belt and tensioner replacement interval for these vehicles only is 15 years or 150,000 miles / 240,000 kilometers.
Maximum replacement time interval for all engines except engine VIN code # 39 & 64 is 10 years.

It's not rocket science, but there is very little room to work, small hands are an asset. A flashlight to see the crank mark. Some folks like the cam sprocket holders, if not then rotate the crank 90 degrees clockwise and then back to the marks to releave pressure on the CVVT.
