how long on a tranny 850 1995

How many miles can you get out of a tranny, 95 T5R 130k. It has been having some trouble shifting out of first gear when its cold out and also when i first start it during those first few seconds, only when its cold, its makes a sound similar to some kind of resonance. Otherwise the car has been great.
