damp in innersite of windows V40 phase II S40-V40 2001

Since January 2001 I have a V40 1.9 TD (115 HP). It has ECC and Aircon.

Despite that in rain or cold wheater (especially with 1 or more passengers

in the car) I cannot keep the innerside of

the windows clean (damp on it).

I've seen a note from Volvo at my dealer that this problem is known and is

due to a software bug. As far as I understood,

they do not intend to improve this.

The solution they gave in this note was to use the defroster for a couple of

minutes. I tried this a couple of times and it is

only a temporarily solution.

Putting the airstream to the front windows and the fan on 3 improves the

situation a little bit for the front part of the car.

Has anyone faced above mentioned problem as well ?
