heater core S40-V40 2000

Hi,
We have a very high mileage (24OK) V40 that recently has dumped coolant on the front passenger floor. I am assuming that the heater core has failed.

Does anybody know how to do this job? DO you have to remove the dash?

I have an indie mechanic for my 240 who is up for the job but is uncomfortable quoting because he has never done it before. We cant seem to get much info from the web.

Thanks in advance,

Rod
