Rough Idle After Cold Start 850 1993

Hello again lads.

This has been bothering me for a number of months and is slowly getting worse. After starting the engine, say in the morning, the idle speed fluctuates up and down, nearly stalling in a rhythmic fashion. If I put it in gear and drive, everything seems okay until I stop, then the engine resumes this laborious idle.

After driving for 10-15 minutes, this behavior goes away.

Yesterday I opened the hood, scratched my head, and realized I didn't know were to look to correct the problem.

Considering these symptoms, can anyone point to an obvious issue to resolve?

Can a fuel filter cause this? Is this a vacuum leak?

As always, any advice is appreciated.
