Have Diesel, Will travel ALL All

This might be old news for some folks, but I recently stumbled upon a couple of sites for something called "BioDiesel". It seems that, starting from old french-fryer oil, the general public can make its own Diesel fuel. Due to this, I have begun searching for a 740 turbo Diesel. In the meantime, please let me know if i'm suffering from some kind of severe misconception. The two best sites I've seen are veggievan.org and www.humboldt.edu/~ccat/biodiesel/biodiesel_index.html (which actually tells you how to make biodiesel). In my opinion, I'd rather fuel my car by myself, for free, than shovel money into the gaping hole of oil conglomerates and the middle east.

And if you know where that turbodiesel is, please let me know.
