Creaking/Cracking when turning or Power Steering Rack replaced? V70-XC70 1999

Hi,

Does anyone have a problem with a creaking/cracking noise when making a sharp/full left or right hand turn? I would be interested in those who own 98,99,00 V70 XC.

I am thinking that I have a bad spot in the power steering rack. Anyone have a power steering rack replaced? And if so what was the cause of the failure?
