Though it was pulleys but no....

Well it turns out this part is no longer available.
Junk yards don't even want to deal with it.

Can I remove and GUT the unit and reinstall?

Just very noisy on cold start then quiet downs after couple minutes.
Very apparent from cabin when driving off
