98 V70xc manifold hose - pcv? V70-XC70 1998

Hey everybody. My friend's v70xc has a broken line from the intake manifold to the top of the engine head - it looks like it goes under the cover over the plug wires.

It runs from the left (facing the engine from the front bumper) side of the manifold, behind it, then under the fuel rail cover and under the plug wire cover. Is this a pcv line? Whatever it is, it's broken and it's throwing the mixture. We can take a photo to help ID it if that would help.
