Air Conditioning cuts out after ten minutes 850 1995

A.C. cuts out after cooling for approximately 10 minutes when driving car.

Until it cuts out, it cools great, and then the compressor clutch disengages, blower in dash keeps blowing. I belive the charge is okay since the line is cool/covered with moisture back to the compressor (no icing). Car shows no sign of overheating during operation. The A.C. will only come back on after the switch is left off for approximately 10 minutes. If left on, it won't come back on by itself. Is this possibly a defective compressor thermal switch?
