Re: turbo timer install 850 95

I have also inquired with the dealer about a turbo timer and decided that it was not needed for my S70 GLT. My dealer has indicated that by installing the timer, it MAY affect the warranty, it was not necessary since the turbo for Volvos are very good. It would be a good idea to cool down the car after running it hard and things should be fine.

BTW, Volvo electronics are very finicky. I had a aftermarket alarm system installed on my 850 (non-turbo) and it caused many problems (the company that did the installation is one of the best ones in Toronto). Try to keep stock in regards to the electronics on this vehicle to avoid minor problems is my best advice after owing 2 Volvos in the last 6 years.
