With all due respect, "men in glasses houses shouldn't throw stones".

Is this frustration on your part because you haven't been able to get your 94 940 started for weeks? Yes, the red blocks certainly have their share of problems too.

FWIW - my 95 855 has had fewer problems than my 90 244. Plus they are a lot more fun to drive!

A 99 S70 isn't a "new Volvo". As another poster said it is a 14 year old Volvo. As also mentioned, almost any car model newer than a 1995 has an interference engine and probably a lot more electronics than an early S70/V70/C70 Volvo.

BTW - It is the 2001's and 02's that you really need to watch out for...:)
