Fuel line quick connect stuck on fuel filter.

I have a 98 V-70 XC AWD, The engine would stall while driving. It would go for about 1/4 mile at a time. I checked the fuel rail after it stalled in my yard. There was no fuel pressure, telling me that I have a clogged fuel filter or a defective fuel pump. As far as I know, the fuel filter has never been changed and now I know why. The filter is in a very hard place to access it. It is above the rear axle accessible from the two access holes and from under the car. I was able to remove the rear fuel line from under the car but the other line does not move. I have tried every thing it is leaking fuel now but still hasn't moved off the filter much.
