Does miss alignment cause faults? V70-XC70

I had a recurring brake wheel sensor fault (the sensors look very fine) which I am now thinking is caused by a camber (vertical) miss-alignment. Maybe someone before me drove up a kerb and bent the suspension. The bent gear is only noticeable as the tyre becomes worn at the outer edge by driving. I replace them as a new pair once a year. Except for this last time as I renewed the right hand and flicked it to the left ...
I think the brake wheel sensor has something to do with the speedometer; maybe the sensor even provides the speedo with its readings? So, I wonder if the isalignment can trigger the speedometer ---- fault that I started reading. Then came a transmission fault. Flashing transmission fault light each trip with the vehicle going into winter mode.
However, after replacing the tyres to new yesterday these faults have not yet appeared ...
If this is to be long-lived good news for 'me and my darlin' vehicle', I wonder if a) the wheel sensor gets tripped up due to a miss-alignment, b) as the tyre wears out can there be such a sensitivity to the imbalance that faults are triggered?
Cheers
