Re: What should I look for? 850 95

I have had a 900 GLE and two 850's. I had a non-turbo '91 940 GLE. Ni¦e carto drive. But, not much power at the low end. Once it got going though... I traded it for a '95 855 GLT. Again non-turbo. This was funner

to drive than the 940. More advanced features etc. and handled better than the 940. Still not really quick. I think it had ~150 hp and is a heavy car. Again not quick early but, on the high end okay. I totaled this one and recently purchased an '97 855 GLT low pressure turbo. This one is funner. Its faster handles well and again has more advanced bell's

and whisles. This one has ~190 hp and is pretty quick at the low end and advances the needle on the speedometer fast as well. This is by far the funnestone I have owned. I have driven any of the T series turbos. But, I bet they are even funner. Now, since you posted a message to this forum

you can read about the love hate relationship Volvo owners experience. I

enjoy driving a car that was built for people who really can tell the difference. Find a used one with Pre-Select status. Most repairs covered. I found this gets you through some of the pains. Unless you are a do it your-self kinda person. I do some stuff my self. I have purchased

a Chilton which shows how to get to suspect repair part\area.
