Under the various subheadings such as Vehicle Specifications and Dimensions you will find Manufacture Codes. For the Platinum LTD Edition 4 Dr. Wagon is the code “855TLA”. Also note that the Manufactures Code for the 850 base wagon model is “855O/A”, the GLT is “855GTOS/AS”, the Turbo is “855Turbo”, and the R is shown as “855TA5”.
This site also gives some basic differences between the various models under the heading “At a Glance”. So the GLT model adds dual automatic climate control, power sunroof and alloy wheels over the base 850 model. The Turbo model adds leather steering wheel and performance tires over the GLT. The Limited Edition adds TRACs, dual power heated seats, leather upholstery and special White Platinum paint over the Turbo model. The 850 R adds upgraded wheels and tires.
Engine performance is shown as 2.4L, 168 HP @ 6200 RPM, 162 lbs/ft @ 3300 RPM, compression ratio of 10.5:1 for the base 850. Engine performance for the GLT is shown the same as the base model. For the Turbo, engine performance is shown as 222 HP @ 5200 RPM, 221 lbs/ft @ 2100 RPM, compression ratio of 8.5:1. The TLA has the same performance as the Turbo model. The R has performance listed as 2.3L, 240 HP @ 5600 RPM, 221 lbs/ft @ 2100 RPM, compression ration 8.5:1.
Other differences show up as option upgrades for the less expensive models. Traction Control is standard on TLA and TA5 as well as Front Fog Lights, Leather Seats, AM/FM Radio with CD. The Turbo and TLA share the same P205/50ZR16 Performance SBR Michelin BSW tires, the TA5 has P205/45ZR17 Performance SBR Pirelli BSW tires, the GLT has P195/60VR15 All-Season SBR Michelin BSW tires, and the O/A gets P195/60VR15 All-Season SBR Goodyear BSW tires.
5-Speed manual OD transmissions were standard on the O/A and the GLT while the 4-Speed Electronically Controlled Automatic OD transmission were standard on the Turbo, TLA, and TA5.
