Thanks for the replies. Closer examination of the remote I received does show the 9148646 part number, so clearly the dealer screwed me over (even after asking for my VIN and keeping me on hold for 10 minutes). I can't help but wonder if he did it intentionally. He was very hesitant to give me the part number, only offering the price. I told him I was considering a purchase elsewhere. Probably a bad mistake. Grrrrrr.
