Bluetooth S60 2004

Not sure what year Volvo started to offer Bluetooth as an option, but my 04 R model has it. It's always paired quickly with my apple phone(s) over the years, but it never streams iTunes via bluetooth. I'm I missing a command or is this how bluetooth works in my car? I would rather not have to add an adapter for a wired solution. Can I get my system to stream audio?

Anyone else have this issue? Did you find a solution?
