I think its a big fuse but I never pulled it V70-XC70 2000

Yes, that is a strange plug and cover assembly. The cover cracked a little bit but should be OK. I pulled the #4 50A ABS fuse just to be safe. Did not disconnect the battery.

The socket for the four Torx head ABS controller mounting screws is a 1/4" drive E-5. Bought the socket at NAPA.
