Headlight S60 2003

My recently purchased 2003 s60 has let water into the rh headlight when it rains
I believe the headlight lens is glass
Can I seal the glass in situ or do I have to take the headlight out of the car
Does the glass come off easily and what is the procedure may I ask
Is it hard to take the headlight out, I have heard horror stories
