Long time no post! Advice needed on 99 S70 engine..... S70 1999


Thanks Klaus. I do have a new RMS to put in before I put everything back together. It's the last thing I'm going to do before mating them. I didn't know how well the transmissions did once the fluid was changed. It has over 280,000 miles on it and I'm not certain it's ever been changed. I had an old Z71 a few years ago and the transmission died shortly after changing the fluid and filter. Are these transmissions pretty resilient? Right now I'm hung up on the lifters and will not put the cams back in until I am certain they are good.
