Side Weather Strip

I did a hi-speed run on my turbo wagon (raced with a Subaru Legacy GTB 2.0 liter twin turbo, 260hp!) at speeds between 200 and 240kmh. when i got back the Front left-side weather strip was missing. i noticed there were only 2 clips to secure the strip down beside the rubber-gum patches.

why can't volvo design a proper strip that can be securely fastened wich won't fly off at speed?

anyone else faced this problem?
