Selecting a body shop 850 96

Unfortunately I am in need of the services of a body repair shop as my LHR door skin needs replacing due to damage sustained in a supermarket parking lot. Not a big deal but Ive had quotes around $1500.

Anyway what Im concerned about is how to select a body shop which will restore my volvo to factory standard if possible. Im no expert in these areas and would appreciate advice as to what I should be looking for such as optimal number of coats of paint, types of paint, surface preparation and rustproofing etc etc. I assume the factory painting would be more involved than what a local body shop could do.

Is it possible to have small damage repaired so it is indistinguishable or will there always be tell tale signs to the knowledgable eye. Any advice much appreciated

Cheers
