The max rpm in my case was a tiny notch before 7000. That's why I said 6900. The weird thing is that when accelarating in WOT from 0km/h. The max rpm is 6500 and then the engine "stalls". But on the highway this only happened at 6900rpm??

Also when I mentioned the shifting lanes. I was actually talking about moving from one lane (road) to the other (left). Like overtaking another car. Not shfiting gears. What experience do have with this maneuver. On an ///M5 it's like being on rails.

Thank you for all your valuable input to our message board! It seems that you always have something new for us. Like the diference in boost between WOT and "near" WOT. Excellent information!
