radio quit 1997 850

You are going to have to pull the radio out enough to check the connectors in the rear. Don't assume the fuse is good, the 15amp in #7 might be a little loose.

As for the CC, not related. Most likely the switch under the brake pedal. Pull off the vacuum line at the small motor mounted under the battery tray (you should be able to see it with the battery in place. Put suction on the line that runs back to the firewall along the fender. If the throttle moves, the brake pedal switch is fine. The brake pedal switch has 2 vacuum lines on it and is easily broken during removal - the plastic tabs are brittle with age.
